The 50th UKNG meeting had been successfully held in Lisbon on 20th-21st November. More than 30 members from major UK neuroscience centres who are joined by theirs spouses or partners have attended the 2- day meeting at the beautiful Olissippo Lapa Palace Hotel situated in the heart of the city offering spectacular views of Lisbon and the Tagus River.
To take account of the travelling distance and varying flight times from the UK, the meeting was scheduled to take place all day on Saturday 21st November. Various topics including intra-arterial thrombectomy, extracranial stenting, management of poor grade subarachnoid haemorrhage and direct caroticocavernous fistula were discussed.
